The One Who Holds The Future.

 'Then Naomi said to her, “Just be patient, my daughter, until we hear what happens. The man won’t rest until he has settled things today.”' Ruth 3:18

See this is the way God works in our lives most of the time, we are so desperate to make moves 
immediately but at times God wants us to be patient. We at times have to remember that God's time 
isn't always our time, we are meant to be patient with God and not constantly rushing to get what we
want right then. See life can be frustrating in times we want to know what the future holds, but rest
today knowing even though we have no idea what our futures hold, we do know who ultimately
holds our future. We are going to have everything we need in the right time.Rest today, be calm,
enjoy your day. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Our children will also serve him. 
Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord." Psalms 22:30 "My future is in your
hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down restlessly." Psalms 31:15 "For evil people have
no future the light of the wicked will be snuffed out." Proverbs 24:20 "She is clothes with strength
and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31:25

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
