You Can Always Find Your Way Back Home.

"We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life!" He was lost, but now he is found!" Luke 15:32

You are never too far gone to not come home. Personally I believe that God wanted this story in the Bible to show us that no matter how far away we drift, no matter what we do to push Him away that he will be waiting with open arms to take us back in. There is also a verse in the Bible that tells us He will leave the ninety-nine to find the one, keep the in mind next time you feel like you're too far gone. Today one of my devotions was a quote that said, "We are only as close to God as we want to be." We have to want to come home and talk to God, we have to want to talk to Him while driving to and from work, we have to want to include God in our daily life. He wants us close but He can't force us to want Him close. Today if you've drifted from your relationship with God, are just not as close as you'd like to be, welcome Jesus with one arms, He's waiting for YOU! "We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps." Proverbs 16:9 "Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 16:3 "So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him." Luke 15:20 "If a man has one hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won't he leave the ninety-nine others on the hill and go out to search for the one that is lost?" Matthew 18:12

If you are lost you can always come home no matter how far you have gone. He loves you & wants his children home with them just like parents want there children to be.
