You Can Worship Anywhere

"For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go." Psalms 91:11 

The other night as I've been praying for a spiritual breakthrough, one of my close friends texted me and ask if she could pray with me, even if we weren't on a call we could pray at the same time. As I turned my worship music on and sat on my bed, and began to pray, I felt the Lord's spirit fall. I began to weep as I felt His Spirit close to my heart. I prayed for a breakthrough and God's spirit to come down and touch my situation. After that worship session both my friend and I felt God so strong, see we have to remember being in a church is great, and being around our church family is wonderful, but no matter where you are God's spirit follows. You can worship Him riding in the car, sitting in bed as I was, in a church building, at work, at school, or even just a place alone. You don't have to find a perfect setting to go be in His presence, wherever you are and you welcome Him in He is there. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed." Deuteronomy 28:6 "For the Lord is the Spirit; and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17 "Instead, let the spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes." Ephesians 4:23 "The Spirit of the Lord speaks through me; his words are upon my tongue." 2 Samuel 23:2

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
