Just When You Think It's Over..

"But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is unsettles as a wave of the sea that is blow and tossed by the wind." James 1:6 

So many times in our lives we want to throw the towel in and say we're done, we're ready to give up. That's the perfect time for God to step in and show you what He really can do! In times where we are most down that is when God has the biggest opportunity to move mountains. Today if you're feeling all down and out, and discouraged lift your head up high and know God has it all figured out. You're about to get a miracle, a blessing and so much more. Have faith in God! Here are some verses to reflect on today. "I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart." Mark 11:23 "And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering." Jude 1:22 "Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1 "The father instantly cried out, "I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!" Mark 9:24

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
