Our Life Guard Walks On Water.

 "When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water, and they were frightened." John 6:19

Imagine being in a lake and you have a storm come through, and as you row the boat you see Jesus on the water. I imagine I would be scared also, but see that's how Jesus walks into our lives. When we are in the storm scared and afraid, He calmly walks in the storm to find us. You are never sent a battle too hard for God to help you overcome. You are worth more than you can even imagine in God's eyes. Take hold of your future and chose not to let the storms take over you, Jesus is walking on the water to come save you. Remember our life guard walks on water. There is no need to fear in the middle of the storm, hold on. He's already walking on the water to help you through, take His hand. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and towards Jesus." Matthew 14:29 "He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot- come let us rejoice in him."Psalms 66:6 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers; they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2 "I will grant you peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beast from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country." Leviticus 26:6

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
