Plant Your Seed Of Faith.

"The Lord answered, "If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'May you be uprooted and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you!" Luke 17:6 

I have a bit of a testimony today. My dog got out of our fence Sunday night, the neighbors seen her run into the woods. I wasn't too worried, I figured she would be home by the morning. Monday comes, no sign of her. I made a Facebook post telling everyone that if they seen her please message me, by Monday night still no words from anyone and no sign of her. Late Monday night, I messaged a Pastor that I trust, asking for prayer and guidance of what to do. He told me to read 2 Kings chapter 16, to follow what the elder prophet told the younger to do, to go break a twig off of a tree limb, place it in the last place I saw her, but I had to be the one to do it. I felt it was a seed of faith. Tuesday morning I did. I went got a twig placed it in her kennel, where personally I had saw her. Two hours after doing that in faith, and praying continually, I got a Facebook message. Someone seen a post that a dog that looked like her was at their house, I messaged the lady and she told me she had my dog. It was 5 miles, and across a 4 lane from my home. She had seen my post the day before. My dad went to get her, she was so excited to see us, and before he could call her name she came running to him. What I'm getting at is, the twig might have seemed small to many, but that was a seed of faith for me. I put my full trust in God, and remembered He even made a donkey talk in the Bible. If I could trust God with something that small, imagine the trust I am gaining in my walk with Him daily? Faith of a mustard seed can move a mountain. Today whatever you're worrying about, plant a small seed and watch God prosper it into what you're praying for. He can and will move that mountain in your life if only you trust in Him. Remember faith without works is useless, so take action on your faith. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "You don't have enough faith," Jesus told them. "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible." Matthew 17:20 "Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1 "So you see, faith by itself isn't enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless." James 2:17 "So faith comes from hearing that is, hearing the Good News about Christ." Romans 10:17

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
