What A Friend We Have In Jesus.

"I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn't confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me." John 15:15

There are times in our lives when we feel like we have no one, we feel as though all of our friends have walked away. We have to keep in mind that we always have a friend in Jesus, no matter the circumstance the one person in the world that will always stand beside us is Jesus. When we fully chase after Him, you'll then begin to see people running the same speed as you after Him, those are the friends you need. The ones who will chase dreams, chase Jesus, not the ones who are chasing after the world. Surround yourselves with people who fit your future, not those who fit your past. Focus on your future with your true bestfriend, God, and all the rest will come along at the right time. Here are some verses to reflect on."There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friend." John 15:13 "There are "friends" who destroy each other, but real friends stick closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24 "Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy." Proverbs 27:6 "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." Proverbs 27:17

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
