When God Promises, He Means It.

 "I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is a sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth." Genesis 9:13

If you notice after it rains a lot of times you see a rainbow in the sky, the rainbow is a reminder that God will never flood the entire earth again. Every time you see a rainbow it is a reminder that if God promised you something, He will do it! There isn't no if, and, or, buts, if God said it He will do it. It isn't like asking someone for help and wondering if they will come through, it is a set in stone deal. When God tells you something, He means it. He is creator of all the world, He knows what will happen all the days of our lives, He wouldn't tell you something and put hope in your heart if He knew it'd never come to pass. Hold on to the hope God has given you. You're about to see His promises come to pass in your life! Here are some verses to reflect on today. "The rain pours down from the clouds, and everyone benefits." Job 36:28 "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires." Psalms 37:4 "Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise." Hebrews 10:23

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
