You Are Free.

"For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17

This verses really speaks to me, it reminds me in the midst of all our circumstances that there is freedom that lives in us when we have the Spirit of the Lord living in us. Today, no matter what your circumstances are know that there is a freedom that lives in us greater than anything in this world. God will work everything to the good for those who love God. You have a freedom that lives in you, that's greater than anything in this entire world. You are free from the mistakes you made, sin, doubt, free, frustration, anger, and even your temptations. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32 "So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law." Galatians 5:1 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 "For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin." Romans 6:7

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
