You Cannot Serve Two Masters.

"No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other: you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money." Matthew 6:24 

You can't be God's bride and dance with the devil at the same time. It's like when you get married and they have the first dance, the groom dances with the bride not an ex girlfriend. You can't be a part time christian and expect God to bless you as if you were a full time christian. When you put God on the back burner, then you're putting the most important thing in last place. You've got to choose which side you're on, being in the middle isn't an option. You can't be lukewarm and have already fully given God your heart. One thing I learned is I better get on the boat before it's too late and eternity with the devil is what I have to pay. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth." Revelation 3:16 "Anyone who isn't with me opposes me, and anyone who isn't working with me is actually working against me." Matthew 12:30 "They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!" 2 Timothy 3:5 "So you can be certain of the truth of everything you were taught." Luke 1:4

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
