Your Cup Can Become Full.

"You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings." Psalms 23:5

Have you ever been looking out the window at the rain pouring down and thought,"Wow, we needed this rain, it's been dry." The same way as things happen in our lives that leave us empty and dry. When we try to follow the world to become happy we begin to realize we are actually dry inside. We aren't truly happy, until we can find God's peace. You have to stop trying to let the world fill you cup, when God is the only one who truly can. If you're feeling frustrated, dry, or empty, go to God in prayer and ask God to fill you up. You're worth so much, don't let the enemy take the joy of the Lord away from you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying." Romans 12:12 "Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again- rejoice!" Philippians 4:4 "You haven't done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy." John 16:24 "but the angel reassured them. "Don't be afraid!" he said. "I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people." Luke 2:10

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
