Be Free Of Baggage.

"So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven— except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven." Matthew 12:31 

We are made right not by our own good, but by God's mercy. The thing about God is He knows we don't deserve His love and forgiveness, yet He gives it to us anyways. God doesn't think like we do, God doesn't look at all the wrong you've done and say, "you're too far gone, you've done too much for me to forgive you." The Bible tells us that the only sin that cannot be forgiven is blasphemy, that means all those mistakes you've made that seem so terrible, God forgave you for the minute you asked Him to. You're carrying a weight that isn't yours to carry any more, give it up. You're free and you're forgiven. Stop carrying around baggage. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Then Jesus said to the woman, "Your sins are forgiven." Luke 7:48 "Is it easier to say 'Your sins are forgiven,' or 'Stand up and walk?" Matthew 9:5 "Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, "My child, your sins are forgiven." Mark 2:5 "And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer anymore scarifies." Hebrews 10:18

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
