Dream Bigger!

"Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." Ephesians 3:20 

Dreams are something God created for us, the Bible tells us that His plans are better than we could ever think of. Thing of that dream that is so big you think could never come to pass, that dream is small compared to the plans God has set out for those who love Him. If God spent so much time creating us, don't you think He wants to spend time seeing us succeed. Things that are from God are so much better than things of this world. The world might give you money, fame, nice houses, and temporary happiness, but when God blesses you it's something that will last. I'm not saying God doesn't bless you with money, nice houses, or even fame, but when God does it He gets the glory, and He also wouldn't give you something that is a temporary happiness, because as christians we don't find happiness in those things, our ultimate source of happiness is found in Him. Today, dream bigger, and God will help you know which paths to take. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "If those who live there are peaceful, he blessing will stay; if they are not, the blessing will return to you. Luke 10:6 "That is the Lord's blessing for those who fear him." Psalms 128:4 "When you enter the home, give it your blessing." Matthew 10:12 "Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Proverbs 3:6

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
