God Already Equipped You.

"God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:17

If God calls you to do something, He has already equipped you for it. You've already got everything you need to do what God has planned for you. You are enough, and God wouldn't have called you to do something you weren't able to do. God has a special plan for everyone's life, and just because we all don't have the same calling, we all have important ones. If you feel called to help people, be a minister, be a friend to those in need, to be a youth leader, to be a foster parent, to be someone who cleans the church, or even to be a missionary know God already equipped you for it. When the right door opens step not it wit confidence knowing God has already given you the strength to do it. Take that leap of faith and trust God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ." Ephesians 4:12 "This is my command- be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 "I am the Lord; there is no other God. I have equipped you for battle, though you don't even know me," Isaiah 45:5 "Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 16:3

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
