God's Always Protecting You!

"He guards the path of the just and protects those who are faithful to him." Proverbs 2:8  

You don't know the times that God has protected you things. Think about the times you've almost wrecked, broken bones, hurt yourself, or even just almost been in a place at the wrong time. That time you thought God was breaking your heart, He was actually letting those things happen because what you thought was meant for you, was not. God knew the future and knew what to do to stop that from happening, and letting what was meant for you to find you. You never know how many times God has actually done that for you. When you give your all to God, and you are faithful to Him, He will guide you and He will protect you, always. Today, think about your relationship with God, make sure you're doing your best to stay close as you can to Him because you never know exactly what He is protecting you from. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory." Psalms 32:7 "Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." 1 Corinthians 13:7 Gaurd your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." Proverbs 4:23 "Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness." Ephesians 6:14

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
