He Is The Potter, We Are The Clay.
"O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is not the potter's hand, so are you in my hand." Jeremiah 18:6
When you go through deep waters sometimes it's not about drowning you, it's about cleansing you, other times it's to drown your enemies. Think of it like this, when we are baptized it's not to drown us, it's to cleansers. You have to stop putting these thoughts in your mind that God is breaking you, most if the times He's actually making you.We all have flaws, things God sees about us that need fixing, and sometimes He does have to break us completely down to build us back up. He is the potter, He is the one that made us in the first place. Next time you feel like you're breaking, remind yourself maybe God is just fixing the things about you that you didn't know how to fix. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." 1 Peter 5:7 "He reached down from heaven and reassured me; he drew me out of the deep waters." 2 Samuel 22:17 "I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit!" Mark 1:8 "When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you." Isaiah 43:2
