Heaven Is Not A Fairytale.

 "He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever." Revelation 21:4

There is one place in this world we all dream of visiting, somewhere that we think is completely gorgeous, think of how beautiful that place is, really picture it in your mind. Heaven is so much more beautiful than that, the streets are made of gold, the flowers are colors we can't even imagine, and the best part is, our savior is there at His thrown. We can spend one on one time with Him anytime we want, and worship Him all the days long. It sounds great doesn't it, like a fairy tale, but the thing is it's actually a real place. Eternity is serious, and we all should work daily to make Heaven our home. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am." John 14:3 "But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior." Philippians 3:20 "The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship." Psalms 19:1 "Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot be destroyed, and thieves do not break in and steal." Matthew 6:20

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
