Let Your Faith Overcome Doubt.

"Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 1:11

When you're in doubt pray it out, Life is going to always make you doubt things, but you have to let your faith outweigh that doubt. I feel like someone has been praying for something for a while, maybe a move of God, a loved one, a circumstance that seems to not be changing, or something personal. I feel God saying, "You're so caught up in the worry that you're forgetting that I have taken care of everything you've worried about before now. If you lay everything in my hands, I will take care of it." Doubt doesn't have to live in your heart, you're the one who is letting it. Let your faith overcome doubt. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen." Hebrews 11:3 "For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow." James 1:3 "So you see, faith by itself isn't enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless." James 2:17 "For we live by believing and not by seeing." 2 Corinthians 5:7

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
