Prayer Is Top Priority.

"Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy." Matthew 6:9

When we pray, that is when chains break. See God knew that we would need a way to communicate with Him, and to ask Him for help when we desperately need it. Think about it this way, prayer is a phone call to heaven, but see God isn't like some of us who miss calls, don't answer or even just ignore calls. He always is ready to pick up the phone and talk to us. He is always ready to be a listening ear, always ready to communicate back, all though at times we feel as though He is distant, or just isn't listening, remind yourself that sometimes the world is louder than Him in our minds. Today if you're praying for an answer, a miracle or even just feel distant with God. Go off into a room alone and pray, listen, even if you don't hear anything for a while tell God about your day and ask Him for the advice you need. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours." Mark 11:24 "But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you." Matthew 6:6 "Dear brothers and sisters, pray for us." 1 Thessalonians 5:25 "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." Philippians 4:6
