Share Your Happiness.

"Give me happiness, O Lord, for I give myself to you." Psalms 86:4

Since 2020 we haven't had "normal", we have lived in a world where we haven't seen smiles for months at a time. The thing about smiles is it doesn't only express someone's beauty, it also shows their emotions. We get to see someone's happiness through it. Since we have gotten the mask mandate lifted, I've noticed smiles, and how people greet me with a grin. It makes my day for someone to smile at me. Today smile at someone, show them kindness. Show love to people, as Jesus would. As Christian's our happiness is found in Christ, and the best part is we can always share Jesus with others. Here are some verses to reflect on. "What sorrow awaits you who are rich, for you have your only happiness now." Luke 6:24 "Make me walk along the path of your commands, for that is where my happiness is found." Psalms 119:35 "Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again- rejoice!" Philippians 4:4 "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires." Psalms 37:4

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
