Stay True To God.

 "Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." John 14:6 

I was watching a church service live this evening, and those who came in the comments were being so disrespectful to the preacher, and even just the comments about God were outrageous. I don't understand how someone could blaspheme God like that, I felt angered by the comments. I remembered at that moment how Jesus reacted to people who didn't believe Him, He showed them love anyways. He didn't be disrespectful back, He stayed true to what He knew. The sad thing is some people will go their entire lives denying God, and might never know Him to be true until judgment day, and then it's far too late. God will handle those who talk against men and women of God, including you as His children, if only we stay true to Him and the truth. We have to do what we can, show people His love, and leave the rest up to Him. God always gets the last word in. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32 "For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:24 "They blaspheme you; your enemies misuse your name." Psalms 139:20 "But anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgive. This sin is with eternal consequences." Mark 3:29

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
