Tell Your Story.

"He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfy others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give the same comfort God has given us." 2 Corinthians 1:4

We all have a story to tell of how God has comforted us in the hardest times of our lives, we have a testimony. I encourage you, if you see someone going through what you have and you can encourage them, tell them all about how God brought you out of that dark time. I have a testimony that I will tell someday, and I know in my heart it will help others. God puts us through things sometimes to turn it into a testimony for others to see just how far God can bring someone, and how there is light at the end of every tunnel. Today, I encourage you to take hold of any opportunity to tell others how God can bring you out of the darkest places. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ." 2 Corinthians 1:5 "No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us." Romans 8:37 "For I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13 "I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea." Isaiah 43:16

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
