We Believe Without Seeing.

"For we live by believing and not by seeing." 2 Corinthians 5:7

Something that I couldn't understand for the longest was, why can't we see God? When I read this verse it finally came to me. Imagine if we could see God, wouldn't it be so easy for others to believe? The Bible teaches us that we have to live by faith and not by sight, so that is teaching us that faith is believing even when we aren't able to see. When we choose in our hearts to believe God is real, and that Jesus was killed for all our sins and raised from the dead, that's when our faith starts to show. We are meant to believe in God and know He's real by Him talking to us, being in us, and feeling His Spirit. We don't have to see Him to know He is the one true God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Yet when he comes near, I cannot see him. When he moves by, I did not see him go." Job 9:11 "I do not see him in the north, for he I hidden. I look to the south, but he is concealed." Job 23:9 "I am the God of your father — the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob." When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at God." Exodus 3:6 "God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God." Psalms 53:2
