Beware Of Wolves In Sheep Clothing.

"Then the devil took him to Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, "If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, 'He will order his angels to protect and guard you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone.'" Luke 4:9-11

I was looking at this chapter as I wrote yesterday and began to see it in depth. The devil could quote Scripture, that proves to us that not everyone who proclaims the word of the Lord is sent by Him, the enemy can use those same tactics. Stop letting people tell you what the Bible means and learn it for yourself. You need to pray for wisdom to understand His word, and not depend on others to explain it to you. The Bible clearly tells us that there will be false prophets, and that is most defiantly true! Don't trust what someone says just because they know scripture, the Devil himself knew scripture. Today seek God for yourself and don't trust someone just because they know the Bible. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "False prophets and those who seek their guidance will all be punished for their sins." Ezekiel 14:10 "Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep who are really vicious wolves." Matthew 7:15 "And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people." Matthew 24:11 "For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God's chosen ones." Mark 13:22

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
