Come Back To God.

"who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins." Colossians 1:14 

If you're reading this with a heavy heart, and you think you've done too much wrong to come back to God, know God isn't upset, He isn't pushing you away, He isn't punishing you, He just wants you to come home. You're not meant to live a life of constant battles, fear, doubt, pain, or discouragement. You can flourish in life if you follow God's plan for your life. Take a step that many of you have been wanting to but haven't out of fear, and come closer to God. He is waiting for you with arms wide open. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Then Jesus said to the woman, "Your sins are forgiven." Luke 7:48 "If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you." Matthew 6:14 "He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross." Colossians 2:14 "Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin." Romans 4:8

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
