Don't Be Ashamed Of The Gospel.

 "If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first." John 15:18

Why is it things we support is so easy to stand for, but when it comes to our religion we coward down and are ashamed. I thought about it today, my parents always taught me to never be afraid to stand and say "I'm a Christian", even when no one else did. Why would we be ashamed of the one who took time to create us, build us each alike in so many ways in different in others, the one who made the sun, moon and the stars, but most of all the one who died for our sins while we were still sinners ourselves? We have to stop letting the world make us ashamed of not only our religon but also our Savior. We are called to tell people about Jesus, in different ways, but still make an impact on the world we live in today. Don't be ashamed, the Bible tells us that they hated Jesus but that didn't stop Him. This day and age we have to Christian community to understand us, but most of all Jesus, He was hated and died a sinners death that He did not deserve! Take heart, Jesus has overcame the world, don't be scared or ashamed of telling about Jesus, because in the end His opinion is all that will ever matter! Speak the Gospel and find a way to share it, today. Here are some verses to reflect on today! "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." John 16:33 "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." Romans 5:8 "But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!" 1 Peter 4:16 "But anyone who denies me here on earth will be denied before God's angels." Luke 12:9

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
