Focus On The Breakthrough, Not The Battle.

 "For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rules and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly place." Ephesians 6:12 

You're in a season of your life where you're so close to the breakthrough that the enemy has your vision so clouded that you can't even see it yet. The blessing is so big that it's not even seen or felt yet. The enemy's figured out that if he can keep your attention on the battle that you're going through, your focus is no longer on the breakthrough. When you're looking for something that you've lost you tend to look over it in plain sight because you're more focused on finding it, than the object you lost in the first place. Today search for the breakthrough, and forget about the devil. God is getting ready to bring you out of this, stronger and happier than before. Your focus needs to be on the breakthrough, not the battle. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "If you look for wholeheartedly, you will find me." Jeremiah 29:13 "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadows of the Almighty." Psalms 91:1 "But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 "That is the Lord's blessing for those who fear him." Psalms 128:4

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
