Sooner Than You Think.

 "Jesus replied, "You don't understand now what I am doing, but someday you will." John 13:7

When God promises you something it's not always on a time schedule, sometimes God works on you and your situation and makes it happen when your heart is truly ready. If you've been praying, or currently praying about something think to yourself if it happened right now would you be ready to accept it and give full credit to God for it? If not then maybe you need to work on it, God works on us while He works on circumstances. What you're praying for expect it any day, at any time, because God is still in the miracle-working business. You are going to receive His promise over your life, but you have to do your part too. Here are some verses to reflect on. "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don't give up." Galatians 6:9 "The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen." Isaiah 60:22 "That is the Lord's blessing for those who fear him." Psalms 128:4 "When you enter the home, give it your blessing." Matthew 10:12

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
