There Is Power In The Name Of Jesus.

"Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed — and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus' name has healed him before your very eyes." Acts 3:16

You have to start speaking Jesus over every aspect of your life. I've always been taught to end my prayers as, "In Jesus name, I pray, amen." I never fully understood why although I knew to do this until I read this verse in depth. It explains we do this because, through His name we are healed, we end it on the note that we are giving it to God. We are healed through His mighty name, we are freed through it also. Today pray about what is worrying you, what is bothering you, or even what is hurting you, and you will be healed in the name of Jesus! Here are some verses to reflect on today.  "As soon as they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus." Acts 19:5 "And we give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:20 "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth." Philippians 2:10 "Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy." Matthew 6:9

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
