Time Is Of The Essence.

"A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest." Ecclesiastes 3:2 

Time is something we can't make more of and we can't go back to. This is why how we choose to live each day truly matters, we have to push to find our purpose and fulfill it before we run out of time. When God calls us home there is no more time to show the people in your life that you love them, help save souls, help the homeless, or even just to spend another minute here on earth. You have to do all the things you need to get done before you run out of time. Stop wasting time thinking you have forever here on earth, pray God reveals your purpose to you so that you can fulfill it. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don't give up." Galatians 6:9 "and that the time of the Lord's favor has come." Luke 4:19 "From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done." Isaiah 43:13 "Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity." John 12:25

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
