Treat People As Jesus Would.
"You won't spend the rest of your lives chasing your own desiring, but you will be anxious to do the will of God." 1 Peter 4:2
When we are transformed into righteous people, we desire to do what is good. I'm not just talking about keeping our lives from sin, I'm also talking about being kind where it is difficult, being a good person to srangers, being forgiving when you don't want to be, being the kind of person that welcomes someone in just because you see others mistreating them. You're not meant to only live a life where you do the right things, you also have to be kind to others. You're meant to set an example of how Jesus treats people. If you constantly walk around with a frown on your face, looking down at others, think of how that makes people think of all christians. What if you're the only christian they really know and they see you treating people like that? They wouldn't want to be apart of that, who would honestly. Set an example of the love of Jesus, be the friend to the broke, be the help to the homeless, be kind to the rude, smile at those who look down on you, you're not here to punish you're here to be the example. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you." John 13:15 "And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching." Titus 2:7 "My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection." Psalms 71:7 "God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:17
