Your Time To Shine

“You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.” Psalms‬ ‭23:5

Your time is coming, you're going to shine with blessings in front of your enemies. The way God does things is sometimes different than we do, God will let people talk down on us, and sometimes even hurt us. In the end, it will teach them a lesson, because God blesses His children. Don't feel discouraged, if you're feeling down and out remember that those who hurt you are also going to be the people God blesses you in front of. Get ready, abundant rain of blessings is on the way! Your time to shine is so close, just hold on! God is fixing to bless you in front of those who hurt you, left you, mistreated you, took advantage of you, those who talked bad about you and you didn’t even know about it, and even those who weren’t your friend that you thought was! Get ready for it! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ “But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!” Matthew‬ ‭5:44‬ ‭ “and delivers me from my enemies. You hold me safe beyond the reach of my enemies; you save me from violent opponents.” 2 Samuel‬ ‭22:49‬ ‭ “The Lord will be our Mighty One. He will be like a wide river of protection that no enemy can cross, that no enemy ship can sail upon.” Isaiah‬ ‭33:21‬

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
