Follow The True Leader.

"As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go." Luke 9:57

We must follow wherever God chooses to lead us, often times it's not where we think it will be, but that's okay because God knows best. We are called to be followers of Christ, not those who follow their own thoughts and their own flesh. Follow Jesus wherever He leads you, and you will never go wrong. When we are at a choice in life we must talk to God first, we can't depend on our own understanding. We never know what the future holds, but we do know who holds our future. We are followers of Christ and that's a daily decision we must make every single day.  If you can't decide what job, car, or career path you want to take, pray over it today. God made us for such a time as this. We all have a purpose in this world, and God knows what that is for each of us. He can lead you to the right people, opportunities, and even the right places for your purpose to begin, but for it to do so, you must sit your plans down at God's feet and wait for Him to tell you what to do next. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me," John 10:28 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5 "Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Proverbs 3:6 "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me." John 10:27

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
