I Declare!

"The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine." Isaiah 9:2

I declare the car you've been praying for is coming, the relationship you've patiently waited on is fixing to find its way to you, the healing you've been praying for is fixing to happen, the trip you've been dreaming to take is going to become possible, the job you've been praying for is going to open up, and even the child you've been praying for is going to be the surprise God sends to you. This is the year you go from waiting to receiving! We spend so much time waiting for things and worrying if they will come to pass that we forget our burdens don't have to be carried, we can pray and leave it at God's feet for Him to take care of. We learn things in the waiting that we will carry with us forever and always remember. As I waited for a relationship I learned the things I wanted in a relationship and the things I didn't, but most of all I treasured the relationship God gave me more than I would have if I had gotten it sooner. The blessings are on the way, you're about to see them come to pass. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "If it turns out to be a worthy home, let your blessing stand; if it is not take back the blessing." Matthew 10:13 "That is the Lord's blessing for those who fear him." Psalms 128:4 "You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God:" Deuteronomy 28:2 "Lord, you poured out blessings on your land! You restored the fortunes of Israel." Psalms 85:1 "With all my heart I want your blessings. Be merciful as you promised." Psalms 119:58

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
