Let Your Will To Please God Outweigh Your Will To Please The World.

 "Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Proverbs 3:6 

Your focus in life is very important, if your focus is always on making other people like you then you'll never become the person you're meant to be. You have to put your focus on God, and pleasing Him. When we set our minds on whether is this what God wants, then we begin to walk in our destiny. People can always lead you wrong, but God never will. As a child, we never wanted to disappoint our parents, and that was good, but as we grow up we learn that it's more important to not disappoint God. Your eternity is more important than what others think about you and how they view you as a person. Today spend time in prayer and ask God if your life is pleasing to Him because the world's view of you doesn't matter. When your will to please God outweighs your will to please the world that's when you're on the right path. You have to align your plans with God's because that's when the blessings start flowing in. Get on the same page with God in prayer. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path." Proverbs 4:26 "He renews my strength. He guides me along the right paths, bringing honor to his name." Psalms 23:3 "For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction." Psalms 1:6 "For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him." Philippians 2:13

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
