Show Your Faith In Action.

 "What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don't show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?" James 2:14

If we say we have faith but show no actions of faith, then why would we think others see it too? Faith is something we have to live by; it is the evidence of our hopes and the evidence of things we cannot yet see. Faith is us praying for a problem to be fixed seeing no change but knowing God already fixed it, it's saying everything is already worked out when you're still in the chaos, it's smiling and saying God is sending me the right one even when your heart is broken, it's all these things but most of all it's not only saying these things but truly believing in them when there is no proof of it. God doesn't want us to have faith just when we see it working, He wants us to have faith when nothing is working. You can't have faith if you don't speak it, and act as though it's already fixed. I was going through a really hard time once, and I felt like the circumstances would never change, I heard a message on if we speak it and have faith God will do it, I began to speak life over my circumstance and it changed, it wasn't taken care of immediately but it started to as I began to speak through faith. Today not only have faith in the middle of the storm but speak peace to the storm as an action of your faith. Here are some verses to reflect on today.  "Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." Hebrews 11:1 "For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow." James 1:3 "So faith comes from hearing, that is, the Good news about Christ." Romans 10:17 "I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours." Mark 11:24 "For we live by believing and not by seeing." 2 Corinthians 5:7

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
