Sooner Than You Think.

"Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Psalms 27:14

We always think something is going to take longer than it really is. Whatever you're praying for or waiting on is about to happen even sooner than you thought. Don't worry so much about if it will happen, it will, and it won't take as long as you thought. You are learning something in this time that you'll understand later. Times in the waiting teach us things that getting it in the moment never could. If you're having to wait for something from God be prepared for Him to give you more than you asked for. You haven't gotten it yet because if you had you wouldn't appreciate it as much as having to wait for it. When you're waiting for something you should be expecting it to happen anytime and any day. God knows when it will happen, but He also knows when you will need it and appreciate it the very most. Today hold on to your courage, God is making it happen sooner than you thought. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 "Yet I am confident I will see the Lord's goodness while I am here in the land of the living." Psalms 27:13 "Yet God has made everything beautiful for it's own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end." Ecclesiastes 3:11 "Jesus replied, "You don't understand now what I am doing, but someday you will." John 13:7

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
