The Answer Is On The Way.
"The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised." Genesis 21:1
Don't mistake God's silences for a "no" from Him. In the eye of the storm all is silent, we think it's over, but really it's only halfway through it, that is what it's like with God, but not in a scary way when we think God adds a period sometimes it's just a comma. We tend to ask God a question that just isn't meant to be answered at that moment, maybe He has something better for you or maybe He just doesn't want to give you the details now. His answer is always on the way, but it isn't like a package we can track, we have to trust God while it's on the way and know that it will arrive right on time. The Bible says God told Sarah by that time next year she would have a baby, she was older and saw no way, she even laughed it off. Her husband was 100 years old when she had a baby. I'm not saying it's going to take God 50 years to answer you or Him to answer your prayer, but I am saying that when God makes a promise He keeps it, and when God gives an answer it never changes. God doesn't change His mind the way that we do, when He says it He means it, forever. Today if you're praying for an answer, be patient. Your story isn't over, you're at a comma, not a period, and God will answer you at the right time. You will be so happy you waited for God to answer before you acted on things. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son." Genesis 18:14 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5 "If you will listen, I will show you. I will answer you from my own experience." Job 15:17 "As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength." Psalms 138:3
