The Peacemaker!

"Though the mountains will be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you." Isaiah 54:10

This verse is so deep if you think about it. How many times in our lives have things been shaken relationships, friendships, jobs, or even where we thought we'd live somewhere but something changed and we had to move. This life isn't something permeant nor are the things in it. We spend so much time depending on things that we forget the only important thing in life is God's unfailing love and His peace. Even if you feel like the entire world is against you, God's love is still there, and so is His peace. The best thing in our lives is His peace, if we can live a peaceful life we will always be happiest! The definition of the word peace is, "Freedom from disturbance; tranquility" If we lived a life and let nothing disturb us, thoughts or even the enemy's lies wouldn't we be much happier? That's what God wants for us every day, He wants us to know the devil is lying and to not listen to a word he says to us. Focus on God and His peace. Take time today to appreciate the things God has blessed you with. You're more blessed than you think, God has placed things in each of our lives. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7 "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." 1 Peter 5:7 "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!" Isaiah 26:3 "God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called children of God." Matthew 5:9

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
