The Test Teaches Endurance.

 "Jesus replied, 'You don't understand now what I am doing, but someday you will.'" John 13:7

What you're going through right now is teaching you something, keep going. When we are driving and it starts to rain we don't know which direction the clouds are going until we get through the storm, that's how it is when God is the driver, we don't know which direction He is taking us but we will when we get there. We don't need to know every detail of life or what all the future holds, what we do need to know is who we trust in when we are in the middle of the storm. We are all learning how to trust Him through anything that we go through in life. When we are tested it shows how much faith we really have. What you're going through isn't the end, it's a lesson to help you in the future. You're going to have to trust God more on this next level in your life, that's why you're learning endurance now. In the Bible it says "When your faith is tested it gives your endurance a chance to grow." Trust isn't just saying "God's got this" it's also taking action on preparing for what you know God will do. Take a step today to show God you're trusting in Him, and that you're okay not knowing what He is doing, because you trust in Him fully. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5 "But when I am afraid I will put my trust in you." Psalms 56:3 "For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow." James 1:3 "For everyone will be tested with fire." Mark 9:49

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
