You Still Have Time.

"God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:17

Today God spoke to me and said this is what someone needs to hear, "Just because you're walking to the finish line and others are running doesn't mean you won't get the same prize." We all want to accomplish great things in our lives, and sometimes we don't accomplish them on the timelines that we think are best, but that doesn't mean that we are behind. Maybe you see all your friends are getting boyfriends, getting married, having babies, or starting careers before you that doesn't mean that you are behind it just means you're letting things align in God's timing. You are getting to these accomplishments later and that's okay, it doesn't mean that the prize changes, you aren't in a race for this, you're just getting there when you get there. Life isn't about racing to see who can get married and have kids first, it's about going through life and trusting God to send the right people, and let the right things come into your life at just the right time. Relax, take your time. We spend so much of our lives rushing to the next chapter that we don't enjoy the chapter we are already in. Start being thankful for the chapter you're currently in, and taking all its beauty in. Here are some verses to reflect on today. "Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith and your purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 "I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." Philippians 3:14 "A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest." Ecclesiastes 3:2 "So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor." 1 Peter 5:6
