Bravery In God.
“If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”” Esther 4:14
The story of Esther has always been my favorite, she was so brave to stand up to the king and his right-hand man just for her people. If we all had her fearlessness it would scare the enemy, wouldn't it? See we tend to forget just because we don't feel like we are fearless doesn't mean that we aren't. The reason she accomplished so much isn't that she knew who she was it was because she knew whose she was. If we know that we belong to God that's where the enemy stands no chance. See we forget that our power, strength, and help comes from God alone, and when someone stands up against God they stand no chance. You have to stop letting the enemy control you and become more like Esther, stand up for God's people knowing that God is backing you up. If God is in your corner you have no need to worry, and if you're a child of God He is in your corner. See there is more than one story in the Bible that tells about someone knowing that their power came from God, not themselves, another one being David. He knew his strength could not win against Goliath, but God's strength could. Whatever the enemy is throwing at you, remember that your strength might not be enough, but God's is. Remember that your bravery is a gift from God. Keep pushing the enemy away and holding on to God's strength because you will never lose a battle when God is holding the shield. The Bible tells us to put on the full armor of God, if you're spiritually battling you have every shield you need in God, and you have no reason to worry. Put on the full armor of God and trust in Him always, He will always see you through. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Then everyone will be afraid; they will proclaim the mighty acts of God and realize all the amazing things he does.” Psalms 64:9 “For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.” Ephesians 6:15 “Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.” Ephesians 4:24 “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11
