God Of The Comeback.

“Now I am on trial because of my hope in the fulfillment of God’s promise made to our ancestors.” Acts ‬26:6‬ 

I know some of you are in a season where you're confused maybe about what is coming next or why you're going through what you are, but I'm here to tell you this season of confusion is fixing to pass, God is about to make all of it come together and make sense. You might be confused about why things went the way they did, why things are going as they are, or how things are going to go but the best thing about God is He isn't in one place. See, God is in the past, present, and future, He knows all things. You're worrying so much about something God can fix in a matter of seconds. You might not see a way for things to work, things to come back together, or things to fix themselves but God has a million ways to do it. I have been praying for something and God has been giving me dreams about it, I woke up from a dream the other morning, and soon as I woke up, God spoke to me and said, "Notice how I've never shown you how it happens? I only show you that it does. You don't need to know how I do it, you just need to know that I will." At that moment I felt so much peace, although I still don't know how God will answer the prayer, I do know that He will answer it. If God told us how He was going to work everything out where would our trust be in Him? There isn't trust where we can see and know all things, there is trust in the mystery. Today, you might be confused but know God can use this to teach you to trust Him. You're okay, you're going to be okay, and you will come through this season because our God is the God of the comeback, not the setbacks. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “You made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to set.” Psalms‬ ‭104:19‬ ‭ “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭ “a land that the Lord your God cares for. He watches over it through each season of the year!”Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:12‬ ‭ “then he will send the rains in their proper seasons—the early and late rains—so you can bring in your harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil.”Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:14‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
