Godfidence.
“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
Godfidence means knowing that you can't, but God can and trusting God with everything. He sees that you have tried your best and now you see that the only way is through God. If you look far enough in the Bible, you see that most of them were put in positions they could not fix or control to see that God can and will. Look at Daniel in the lion's den, look at Job having nothing, Joesph who lost his family and ended up in a prison for something he didn't do, Jonah who was in the belly of a whale, look at Joshua against the wall, look at the Israelites trying to get to the promised land for so long, and even Lazarus who died and was risen again, see all of these things happened for God's glory. What we go through here on earth is for a purpose and will bring God glory. If we were always in a place where everything was perfect then where would we have a testimony to tell about? Whatever circumstance you are in trust that God will use it to show you that He always has even and He always will be in the miracle-working business. You might not have confidence left in yourself, and we all feel that sometimes, but have confidence in God because the things we cannot fix or make work He can. He can change the circumstances faster than we can pray sometimes. Stop letting your emotions tell you things are impossible, believe God can and will do the impossible. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things.” Revelation 2:19 “Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.” Matthew 21:21 ““I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.” Revelation 3:8 “Think about what I am saying. The Lord will help you understand all these things.” 2 Timothy 2:7
