If It’s God’s Will!

 “So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.” Colossians‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭

Have you ever been praying for something that you didn't think was possible then when you got it you kind of ran from it? I have also, and that's not the way you have to do things. See the Bible says to ask anything of God, if it is His will then He will answer it. God wouldn't have answered it if it wasn't a part of His will for your life. You're about to come into a season where you're going to be saying, "This is it, it's finally here! I prayed for this." Just don't let the enemy scare you away from the gift God is giving you, you can't ever go wrong by asking God for something. God doesn't give us something and then say, "well, I messed up you didn't need that blessing I gave you yesterday." Now, God will give us things and people that are life lessons, but He won't ever give you something that isn't a part of His will for your life. If you prayed for it and God sent it, then it's for you! Get ready to receive blessings from God, blessings to be answered after you feel like you've prayed forever for them, and an unexpected extra blessing. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask.”” John‬ ‭11:22‬ ‭ “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭ “But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.”Ruth‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭ “And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:19‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
