Jesus Wept Too.

“Then Jesus wept.” John‬ ‭11:35‬ ‭

Anytime you're sad or hurt, don't feel bad to cry. The shortest verse in the Bible is one of the most powerful, this verse shows us that only was Jesus human but that He felt emotions the same way that we do. It's okay to cry over things, it's okay to feel hurt, Jesus felt those emotions just as you are. This generation teaches us to hide how we feel, don't cry over things, and pretend it's all okay, but that isn't what Jesus did, so why would we? We should let ourselves cry to Jesus and feel those emotions. We are human, we have flesh and we have emotions. It’s okay to feel pain, but what you have to remember is that God never brings pain without purpose. What you’re going through isn’t for nothing. Look at Joseph being sold, sent to prison then he became second in command, look at Noah he was made fun of because he was building an ark with no rain, look at Sarah and Abraham she couldn’t bare children and God gave her a child after the years she was supposed to conceive, look at Moses he was trying to get God’s people freed and then was chased but God parted the Red Sea and he received the Ten Commandments and the Israelites eventually made it to the promised land, look at Esther she was afraid and had fear to upset the king but God spared her and her people, if you think of any of these story’s they all have a background of hurt, betrayal and fear. Where God guides He provides. It’s okay to hurt, and to cry but you have to remember what you’re going through is what you’re growing through. The enemy wants you to give up and give in, but God knows that you will someday tell someone what you’ve been though and it will be a survival guide for them to get though it. Keep going, your breakthrough is right around the corner, cry if you need to, but do not give up. You’re so close!! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Feel my pain and see my trouble. Forgive all my sins.” Psalms‬ ‭25:18‬ ‭ “I am suffering and in pain. Rescue me, O God, by your saving power.” Psalms‬ ‭69:29‬ ‭ “Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.” Psalms‬ ‭130:2‬ ‭ “Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.” Proverbs‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭
