Let God be God

“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:19‬

We spend so much time figuring out how God will do it that we forget He already knows how He will. We don’t have to worry about how, when, or where we should just let God be God! If He said he will do it, He most definitely will. See the thing about God is He hates sin, so therefore He cannot sin. Lying is a sin the Bible teaches us, so therefore God won’t lie to you. If God doesn’t lie, then why would He promise you something that He isn’t going to do? He wouldn’t. If God said it He will do it. Stop stressing about your circumstances so much, God is the one who created you, and if He can create a human being I promise He can work out all of our life problems. Let God be God in all places of your life, trust in Him and trust that He will handle it just the right way. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the Lord takes care of the godly.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37:17‬ “Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever.”Psalms‬ ‭37:18‬ “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.” Psalms‬ ‭55:22‬ “No, don’t be afraid. I will continue to take care of you and your children.” So he reassured them by speaking kindly to them.” Genesis‬ ‭50:21

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
