You’re Being Prepared!

 “God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭

Have you ever had a dream that was so big it seemed impossible, but God said He could do it for you? I know I have and it came to pass. Times are really tough on us sometimes and that’s just the way life is. Have you ever stopped for a minute and thought that maybe the struggles you are facing today are preparing you for what you prayed for? Think about it like this when you start working out you can’t carry much weight, but the more you work out the more muscle you have to hold the weight easily. If you’re struggling holding the weight now, maybe it’s just God preparing you to be able to hold the weight of what you’re praying for. Keep doing what you’re doing, God is so proud of you. He is only preparing you. Something I have learned is anytime God made me wait for something He gave me better than I expect or prayed for. You’re not going through this battle for nothing, it’s strengthening you to make it easier when you get what you prayed for! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Pack your bags and prepare to leave; the siege is about to begin.” Jeremiah‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭ “On the sixth day they will gather food, and when they prepare it, there will be twice as much as usual.”” Exodus‬ ‭16:5‬ ‭ “You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.” Psalms‬ ‭23:5‬ ‭ “just as the prophet Isaiah had written: “Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way.”Mark‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
