Peace From God!

“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭

The closer we get to God and put all of our trust in to God the more we learn to have peace, even in situations that would in the past upset us. We soon realize that our peace is not found in situations and circumstances being “okay” but more found in God. When we have God in our hearts we learn to be at peace in all circumstances. See life is going to have bad days, we’re going to make mistakes, things are going to hurt and upset us, things aren’t going to go to way we want, but when we have our peace found in God then we won’t be bothered by life’s troubles. We are human, we are meant to feel emotions, but God’s peace is something we cannot understand because it is heavenly. The Bible says “Peace that exceeds all understand.” Something happened to me that would normally spiral me into over thinking, but I prayed and said “God if this is your will then give me peace with this”, He done more than that, He gave me peace with the situation and I honestly forgot about it. God is so good to us when we pray the correct way that is when strong holds break, doors open, and things truly change. Today pray, not for the things you want, but for what God wants, ask for His peace, and it will be with you for whatever you’re going through or worried about. His peace is the best thing you’ll ever find. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6 “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭ “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”” John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭ “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭
