Take The Baggage To The Cross.
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”Matthew 11:28
We all have burdens we carry around with us every day. We are more than able to overcome the obstacles that life throws at each of us if we trust God to be the one that we lean for it. See we all walk around daily carrying baggage that some of the use tell no one about, things that bother us, and things that we struggle with. It's not a problem to have baggage, we all do, but it's a weight that we don't have to carry. God is more than willing to carry it, the Bible tells us, "Come to me all who are heavy burden and I will give you rest." If you look up the definition of rest it means, "cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength." Meaning God will take the burden off of us so we can recover the strength that we lost. If your burden is heavy lay it at the cross. He will take that baggage that you've carried around for far too long, and bring you back to strength. You're going to get through this troubling time, but you have to lean on God for help. Let the baggage go, it's not yours to carry anymore. You're free from the burden. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”” Matthew 11:30 “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.” Psalms 55:22 “Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 ““You’re going to wear yourself out—and the people, too. This job is too heavy a burden for you to handle all by yourself.” Exodus 18:18
